Game Train Scotland – Luxury hunting trip on the Royal Scotsman

Welcome to a journey where Edwardian elegance meets exceptional hunting experiences. Game Train Scotland takes you through some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes in beautifully restored Pullman carriages — capturing the spirit of the golden age of rail travel, yet with every modern comfort. The train is chartered exclusively for our group, ensuring the highest levels of service and privacy.

The Train: Your Boutique Hotel on Rails

On board the Belmond Royal Scotsman, you will enjoy attentive, discreet, and personal service around the clock. The iconic Observation Car offers sweeping views over the Highlands, castles, and coastlines, while the refined atmosphere on board exudes calm and timeless style. For complete relaxation, the DIOR SPA carriage awaits — appointments can be arranged for you by the onboard team.

Cabins: Private Sanctuaries with En-Suite Comfort

Each en-suite cabin features fine marquetry and has been designed as a cosy retreat. Every cabin includes a private bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet), constant hot water, premium toiletries, and fresh towels daily. Individually adjustable heating, opening windows, ceiling fans, and a call button ensure comfort at any time. Beds with hypoallergenic duvets and quilted covers promise restful sleep — with the train stationary overnight at a siding or station.

Life on Board & Style

From breakfast on board to dinner in the train’s restaurant, each meal blends seamlessly into the rhythm of the journey — as the landscape drifts by and the day’s impressions unfold. Meanwhile, the onboard team discreetly takes care of every detail. Refined tranquillity, attentive service, and timeless design make life on board an experience in itself.
